This small prayer book (approx. 4 inches tall) follows the traditions of Sephardic Judaism, that is, those Jews who came from Spain and the broader Mediterranean world. It was printed in 1627 by Menasseh ben Israel, the first Jew to print a Jewish book in Amsterdam.
