Jaime Peìrez de Valencia, Divinae plane expositiones: in centum & quinquaginta psalmos Davidicos (Paris, 1521)
It is not uncommon to find a number of ownership inscriptions on Renaissance books, usually on the title page or endleaves. Here we find evidence of four previous owners: Edward Edgeworthe, ‘Fraunses’ Loftus, Michael Jephson and the Greek motto written by Archbishop Narcissus Marsh (the founder of this library) at the top right-hand corner. The Archbishop’s motto means, ‘Truth Everywhere’. The library holds 253 items with Michael Jephson’s signature.
