William Molyneux, The Case of Ireland’s being bound by Acts of Parliament in England, stated ([Dublin?], 1719)
Paper was an expensive commodity, and this is an example of notes being written in books simply because they provided a convenient supply of blank paper. These notes on the ‘Standing Army in Ireland 1731/2’ bear no relationship to Molyneux’s text, which was concerned with the detrimental effect on Irish trade of laws passed at Westminster.
