'You're not getting in here!'
In 1923, Pádraig Ó Conchubhair visited Marsh’s Library only to be blocked by a woman cleaning the front steps. Almost three decades later, he described the encounter in a letter to the library.
The woman thought him a danger to the library and refused to let him pass because he wore the archetypal fedora hat and battered trenchcoat of the gunman.
